Vertical aluminium battens on a concealed rail, in four profiles. Open and light, or closed down for privacy, set by the spacing you choose.
Batten is vertical aluminium on a concealed rail. The battens are slim and the gaps between them are as wide as the batten face or wider, so the fence reads as a line rather than a wall. How open it stays is up to you: the spacing is set when we make it.
It comes in four profiles. SlimLine is the one most people choose. BoldLine is deeper, for a heavier shadow line on a larger frontage. SquareLine reads the same from every angle. RoundLine is the softest.
All four run straight, raked to a slope, or curved around a pool edge or a driveway. All four take the full Dulux and Interpon powder coat range, plus the woodlook grains.

Each batten locks mechanically into machined top and bottom rail channels with a concealed fixing. Nothing is welded, so there is no hot works permit, no heat affected zones to corrode, and no weld lines to telegraph through the powder coat. Patent pending.

Questions
What spacing should I choose?
Wider spacing, 75 to 85 mm, keeps the fence open and airy and lets light through. Narrower spacing, 25 to 50 mm, closes it down for privacy and screening. Because every fence is made to order you can vary the spacing across different sections of the same run.
Can Batten be curved?
Yes. We form the rails around CNC cut templates in 0.9 m, 1.2 m and 1.5 m radii, or a custom radius. All four profiles curve, and a curved section holds the same spacing, height and finish as the straight run beside it.
Which profile is most popular?
SlimLine, at 75 × 25 mm. It gives a fine vertical line that suits most frontages. BoldLine is deeper for larger elevations, SquareLine reads evenly from every angle, and RoundLine is the softest.
