Made to order
Styles are set, sizes are not. Heights, spacings, rakes, returns and gate openings are drawn to your boundary before anything is cut. Nothing is trimmed to fit on the day.

Every fence is drawn to your run and built for that job. The setout happens in AutoCAD, the cutting is done by CNC, and the joins are laser welded or screwed together depending on the style. Same standard of work, without the wait.
Styles are set, sizes are not. Heights, spacings, rakes, returns and gate openings are drawn to your boundary before anything is cut. Nothing is trimmed to fit on the day.
Our styles are designed in house in Landsdale. Several are original to AFS and patent pending, which means you will not find them in a catalogue somewhere else.
Around 95% of what we build is aluminium, with steel used only where a job calls for it. Lighter panels are easier to lift, square and fix, and aluminium does not rust.
Powder coated inside and out, marine grade fixings on pool and coastal work, and a 10 year warranty on the structure and the finish.
Almost everything we make is a custom fence. You choose a style, and then we build that style to your job: your lengths, your heights, your spacing, your levels. Panel widths are set to the piers you have, tops are raked to follow a slope rather than stepping down it, and returns land where the boundary actually turns.
That is the difference between a fence that fits and a fence that has been cut down to fit. It is also why we ask for a photo and a rough length before we quote anything.

Most welded fencing looks fine from ten metres and disappointing from one, and there is a reason for that. Traditional welding puts a lot of heat into aluminium across a wide area. The metal moves, panels pull out of square, straight lines stop being straight, and what is left is a heavy bead to grind back and a powder coat asked to hide the rest.
We use laser welding instead. Laser puts the heat exactly where it is needed and nowhere else: a narrow heat affected zone, minimal distortion, and a clean join that does not need grinding into submission. Pair that with CNC cut components that repeat exactly and you get fences that are millimetre perfect, without the big ugly welds.
Not every style is welded. Some screw together with concealed fixings into machined rail channels, which is the right way to build them. Which one yours is, is stated on its style page rather than claimed across the whole range.

We do not install. We make the fence and deliver it ready to install, and your builder, fencing contractor or landscaper puts it up. That means how easily it goes together is our problem, not theirs, and we design for it: lighter sections, mechanical fixings, panels assembled in the workshop, and posts that base plate or core drill.
Everything for the run arrives together, with the drawings to set it out from. If you do not have an installer lined up, tell us in your enquiry.

A boundary is rarely a straight line. On the styles that curve, we cut templates to your exact radius and form the rails around them, so the curve is a true arc rather than a series of short straight chords. A curved section holds the same spacing, height and finish as the straight run it joins.
Stocked radii and the template method vary by style. See the style page for what yours does.

Tell us the run, the height and the finish, and where it sits: a pool surround, a street frontage, a curved run. A rough sketch or a site photo helps.
Within 24 hours we come back with a drawn elevation of your run, pricing, a specification you can build from or hand to your builder, and a real dispatch date rather than a hopeful one.
Optional, and recommended before you commit. We send profile samples in your specified colour at no charge. A finish reads differently in your own light.
On approval, shop drawings are prepared, then panels are made and assembled in our workshop in your finish. Around six weeks from approval.
Everything for the run arrives together: panels, posts, base plates, fixings, gate hardware and the drawings. Ready for your installer to put up.
Supply only, delivered ready to install. Based in Landsdale, Western Australia, delivering Australia wide.
Construction varies by style. See each style page for whether it is screw together or laser welded.
