Each style carries its own sections, spacings, heights and construction, and each style page states whether it is screw together or welded. Sizes are made to order, so a style sets the look and the project sets the rest. Several of our styles are original AFS designs and patent pending.
Shop drawings with every order
Project specific shop drawings before manufacturing, plus 3D, plan and section details. The details below are for the Batten style; each style has its own.
Can you provide engineering for our wind region?
Yes. Project specific structural certification including wind load calculations, footing design and adequacy statements.
Do you supply CAD and BIM?
Comprehensive DWG and DXF CAD files are available now. Every order also ships with project specific shop drawings before manufacturing.
What are the lead times?
You will have a quote back within 24 hours, with a real dispatch date on it rather than a hopeful one. From approval, a made to order run is around 6 weeks to delivery.
Is there a minimum order for custom colours?
No minimum within the standard Dulux and Interpon range. For a truly custom match (a specific RAL or Pantone reference) we require a minimum of 20 lineal metres. Free powder coat samples are available.
Can you provide samples?
We provide 300 mm profile samples in your specified colour at no charge, plus full sample kits and full size sample panels. Allow 5 to 7 business days Australia wide.
Someone else builds what you specify
AFS supplies only. Every fence we make is assembled and installed by a builder, fencing contractor or landscaper, so we design for that and we deliver everything the run needs on one delivery. If you are handing this to a contractor, send them the trade page.
